Summer is the best season of the year, in my opinion. There are so many things to love about this time of year. First of all, school is out, which means I have more free time to do the things I love. I can sleep in, read books, and spend time with my family and friends. The weather is also perfect for outdoor activities. I love going to the beach and swimming in the ocean. The water is warm and refreshing, and I love feeling the sand between my toes. I also enjoy playing outside with my friends. We ride bikes, play soccer, and have water balloon fights.
Another thing I love about summer is all the delicious fruits that are in season. Watermelon, strawberries, and peaches are some of my favorites. I love going to the farmer’s market with my mom and picking out fresh fruits and vegetables. We make smoothies and salads with all the fresh produce we buy.
